S-63 Ayat 002-03.jpg

English Translation of Al-Quran

[63] Surah Al-Munafiqun [The Hypocrites]

Ayat 2. They have made their oaths a screen (for their hypocrisy). Thus, they hinder (men) from the Path of Allah. Verily, evil is what they used to do.

Ayat 3. That is because they believed, then disbelieved, therefore their hearts are sealed, so they understand not.

Tafseer of Surah Al-Munafiqun Ayat 2. They have made their oaths a screen (for their misdeeds): thus, they obstruct (men) from the Path of Allah. truly evil are their deeds. When they say that Muhammad  [SAWW](PBUH) is the Prophet of Allah, it is Allah's own truth: but what is in their hearts? Nothing but falsehood. 3. That is because they believed, then they rejected Faith: So, a seal was set on their hearts: therefore, they understand not. Cf. 2:7. Their double-dealing has fogged their understanding. In Arabic the heart is taken to be the seat of understanding as well as of affection.

Hadith # 1531.jpg

English Translation of Hadith

Hazrat Aishah (May Allah be pleased with her) said: A man sought permission for audience with the Messenger of Allah  [SAWW](PBUH). He said, "Give him permission but he is a bad member of his tribe.''

[Al-Bukhari Hadith # 6054].

Lesson: as mentioned above in Surah Al-Munafiqun Ayat 3. That is because they believed, then disbelieved, therefore their hearts are sealed, so they understand not" on basis of this Hadith Imam Al-Bukhari has obviously justified the spreading information of wicked people to save people from being deceived from their appearance. If people are not informed of the real conduct of such persons, their religious as well as worldly life will be exposed to grave danger. For this reason, the backbiting of wicked persons for the purpose of warning others is permissible.
