This unique piece of software can quickly and effectively convert MP3 to MIDI. You can take any song in MP3, WAV, or Audio CD format and transform it to MIDI in a matter of minutes. The program is able to work with audio files, as well as to capture and convert a tune instantly, as you sing or play. MP3 (WAV) to MIDI conversion may be useful both for fun and for a serious work. For example, WIDI Recognition System will transform any MP3 or WAV file to a polyphonic ringtone for your cellular. Or, if you are a musician, you can use it to recognize score (there are other applications on the Internet that are ready to create and print sheet music out of MIDI files). WIDI Recognition System aims to help you with this. WIDI allows to transcribe audio recording (Wave, MP3, CD-Track or other format) into MIDI file, the latter being in fact notation of recorded music. WIDI allows to transcribe polyphonic recordings, not just a single tune. The output file follows MIDI standard and therefore can be opened and edited in any Note editor.
Professional edition of WIDI additionally includes TrueTone MIDI Editor designed for further refining the resultant MIDI in a fast and easy way.

The signal spectra, along with recognized notes are displayed in plug-in's window. Also, plug-in displays detected chords in conventional letter notation. The adjustable recognition parameters serve to improve the recognition quality. The plug-in supports several MIDI output methods, including recording to MIDI file.
Note, WIDI Audio To MIDI plug-in is not a standalone program but requires a VST or AU host program.

It is easy to convert typed text to image, but the reverse operation is much more laborious and ambiguous. For example, automatic recognition of hand-writing can't be accomplished without errors till now.

TrueTone Editor is the tool in the WIDI Recognition System Professional Edition that allows user to correct the results of automatic recognition with a visual comparison of spectrogram peaks to the notes. Users possess the options of adding and deleting musical notes, adjusting pitch and duration, and enabling playback, including synchronized play with the source audio file. Now, to enhance score readability, the TrueTone Editor in v3.2 manages bar-lines for easy positioning, addition or deletion in visual mode, or one can use the Tapping Tool, arranging bar-lines by ear. The new Editor also features time-saving functions such as Multiple Selection, so the attributes of a group of notes can be adjusted all at once, and Note Map, for fast navigation.
WIDI 3.2 supports Recognition Presets for different types of music, predefined or created by user. WIDI is now able to work with stereo-recordings - to display them and also recognize channels individually and in various combinations.

A new tiny processor boards makes it possible to send IMU orientation/motion data via bluetooth low power, with only 2 solder connections for the rechargable battery. Presumably something useful could send standard BT MIDI control change messages.
The TV is controlled by the Magic Remote Control, which also supports voice recognition. This little thing isvery handsome and supple and fun to use. You shake it to get the pointer to show, and then it's almost like astandard computer mouse, with soft-click yet responsive arrow keys and a scroll wheel. You don't get a millionugly buttons, just a handful, and you remain in the stylish zone.

You have a full-blown browser for your Internet escapades. It comes with tabs, bookmarks, search, history,everything you need, although not all sites will cooperate, especially if they have embedded content withvarious esoteric media plugins. Now, you may not find this too convenient for use, especially with the TVpreview in the right bottom corner, but it can be removed. You can also search using voice recognition, and itworks really well. It has a fairly high quality of matching, and I find it more accurate than similarcapabilities on the few Android devices that I own.
This is probably the most important and interesting part of any smart TV. LG 42LN570 comes with a huge array ofconnectivity options. It supports your standard network via cable or radio, but it can also do Wi-Fi Direct,Miracast or WiDi, MHL, DLNA, and still more. We shall proceed with caution.
And this was the big and nasty surprise I encountered at first. We go back to our earlier mention of theTruMotion capability. The thing is, like most other smart TVs, LG's box interpolates frames above the standardmovie-recording 24fps to match the refresh frequency of its screen. This means you get more content thanoriginally intended, resulting in over-realistic, over-smooth playback, which makes it all feel too close, toosoap opera like. For me, the initial experience was one of shock and disappointment. Here I was, using thisexpensive HD set, and everything looked cheaper than early 80s pr0n. Not good.
