Propeller_Design small Chord values at the root of blade

Hello everyone,

I am new to SUAVE and trying to use it to generate the twist and chord distributions for a given propeller (i.e generate the optimal propeller for Cruise). However, when I use the prop_design function I get a propeller with a very thin root and a thick tip. How can I put chord constraints?

Hi,

The propeller design function doesn't have the ability to constrain the chords. It's based on the Liebeck and Adkins formulation.

However, we recently had a paper where we did just that using some techniques from the Nexus. We're planning on including this in a long off future SUAVE release.
