We plan to have a discussion focussed on Semil's major areas of expertise
1. Education (particularly university level education)
2. Life Sciences
3. Defense and the public sector
Semil's bio:
Semil is a consultant who founded India Strategy Consulting in 2006. He
specializes in industrial strategy in India across a range of sectors
including infrastructure (with special expertise in special economic
zones, ports, and transportation), life sciences and biotechnology,
healthcare, clean energy and technology, economic development, retail
and luxury goods, and global universities. Since starting the practice
in 2006, he has completed numerous consulting engagements and projects
focused on India for a variety of clients.
Semil holds a graduate degree in economic development and strategy from
Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government and an undergraduate
degree in history from The University of Michigan, which he attended on
a merit scholarship.
