A San Jose developer of software and chip sets for wireless
handheld devices has five openings for software developers.
Our client is a startup funded by two Fortune 100 OEM
companies and it is pre-IPO.
This is a search that is restricted. Your interests
will be limited to this company only.
Listed below are the opportunities:
Software Developers - API - SDK:
Develop APIs and SDKs for use on the Internet or cellular phones.
You must have 5 years experience in developing complex software
(using C/C++ and Java). Your most recent 2 years must have
been spent in a custom API and/or SDK development environment.
It would be a plus if you have some experience with 'foundations'.
Software Developer - Browsers
Your team will develop application browsers to interface
with a client browser, PDA, game player, cellular phone, etc.
You should have strong experience with developing:
interfaces, GUIs, and Windows MFC. It will be a plus
if you know how to work with user interfaces for graphics
or schematics using tools such as EDA. You must know
the internals of the major Internet browsers. You
should have 5 years of experience in developing complex
software. 3 years of that experience should have been
in developing tools for Internet use - including
2 years in browser development.
You will be trained on some tool development.
Software Engineers - Games or Graphics.
You will have the opportunity to create a new type of
application software for use in displaying graphics or
schematics in wireless handheld devices for use on
handheld devices throughout the world. You
should have 5 years commercial software development
experience and in the last 3 years you have been developing
software using DirectX or GamesAPI. Any experience you have
with EDA tools, graphics, user interfaces, or GUIs will be a
plus. We will train you on some tools that you will need to use.
