Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated individual to be responsible for analysis and development of the new optoelectronics components for high-speed optical DWDM telecommunications transmitters. Other responsibilities to include; modeling, design and characterization of the Laser Diodes and other components.
Personal Characteristics:
· Strong technical capabilities and communication skills, with minimal supervision required.
· Must work well in a team environment.
· Must have ability to perform in depth analyses, as well as hands on experimental work.
Experience Requirements:
· Minimum 2 years of experience in Laser Diode development with strong analytical and modeling skills in optoelectronics devices.
· Understanding of optoelectronics component design, operation, and applications
· Understanding of fiber optics telecommunications, including high-speed modulation.
· Optical test and characterization equipment experience
Education:
Requires a Ph. D./M. Sc. In EE or Applied Physics
