- the final is on Friday, Aug. 26, 4 - 7 PM in Terman 156 (that's room
156 in the Terman Engineering building). Please be there in time so
we can start at 4 PM. And keep in mind, the exam is CLOSED book/notes.
- you will get your graded homework #4 back on Friday (after the final).
- I will announce extra office hours for Sunday to return the graded final
and to discuss grades (should there be any problems). Please let me know
(by email) if you would prefer morning, afternoon, or evening office hours.
- The cover page of the final will allow you to specify an email address
if you want me to email you the exam grade and the total grade for the
class. Please note that I will not be able to provide you by email
with any explanation of why you got a certain grade or where you lost
points on the final.
- The class grades will be turned in to the department on Monday morning,
and I'll be out of town until the Fall Quarter starts; this means that
if you can't come to my Sunday office hours, you'll have to wait about
for weeks before we can discuss the exam or grades or whatever.
- Exams that are not being picked up during my Sunday office hours will
be deposited in the CS240A handout bin at Tresidder. SITN students
can get their exams back by courier, but they must attach a blue routing
form to their final.
- If you still haven't made an appointment for your HW #4 demo, please
do so REAL SOON. As announced in class last week, I need to grade all
homeworks by Friday, and my schedule for the rest of the week is already
pretty packed.
