Dear all,

It gives me great pleasure to announce our first Stellenbosch University, Earth Sciences SU ES seminar speaker of this semester, Prof Cris Lana, who is also managing our new BIOGRIP laboratory. Cris will present precise isotope geochronology on offshore carbonate formations to answer "When and How Did the Central South Atlantic Truly Open?".

The seminar will per tradition be held in-person in Room 1004 of our Chamber of Mines (Geology) Building, while attempts will also be made to relay it via MS Teams:
