I've had some trouble with my progress on stuff resetting without warning... like, I've got a Seasonal Challenge at the moment to rack up 7 million skill-points in an Offroader, right? So I've been switching to my Range Rover whenever I didn't need something else for a race, racking up points while traveling between missions... but then I stopped and checked on my progress, and found that it was basically NIL. Something I'd done at some point, probably recently, had reset it. But I have no idea WHAT! Was it changing to a different car? Participating in a race or event? I know that shutting the game down doesn't reset it, fortunately, but I still need to know what I can and cannot safely do without my hard-earned progress being unceremoniously lost.

Same deal with Championships. I've tried starting one, then been distracted for a bit by something else - a Barn-find popping up, I think, or one of those Forzathon Live events - but when I wanted to go back to the Championship, it wasn't there anymore. I had to start it over from the first race again. Now I'm paranoid about doing ANYTHING in the middle of a Championship. Does it reset if you change your car? If you MODIFY your car? If you change the DIFFICULTY? If you shut down the game and start it up again? Does anybody know?

I abandoned that stupid tedious 7 million point challenge after the progress kept resetting, screw trying to get all that in one go, and I did the next one in Spring when only 2 million points were needed. I did it on the beach / dunes near Bamburgh castle.

The Festival Playlist in Forza Horizon 5 is a monthly rotating selection of challenges set by the Horizon Festival for players to beat and earn rewards. It is unlocked upon the player completing an expedition offered through the Horizon Adventure, and can be accessed within the "Festival Playlist" option under the "Campaign" section of the pause menu.

It offers points (PTS), as well as rewards, to players through their participation and completion of challenges offered during each season of a Series. A Series is a cycle of four seasons, with each season being active for a week and amounting for each Series lasting four weeks in total.

The total number of available points, challenges, and rewards differs between Series and seasons, although each Series and season includes two completion rewards offered to players by reaching certain amounts of accumulated points.

Players can only complete challenges offered during each individual season of a Series whilst it is active. A season is active for seven days with each reset at 14:30 (UTC) every Thursday. A Series is active for twenty-eight days in seasonal order from the beginning of Summer, through Autumn and Winter, with progression into the next Series occurring at the end of Spring.

The Weekly Challenge has four chapters and typically relates to owning a certain car or a car within a certain car type. With the completion of a chapter, the next chapter is unlocked. Upon completing the fourth challenge, the player is rewarded with 80 Forza Points and 5 points towards its associated Series.

The Daily Challenges include seven challenges, of which each challenge becomes available each day at 14:30 (UTC), and each can only be completed within a week upon becoming available, even after a season has expired. Completing each challenge rewards a single point towards its associated Series.

Monthly Events are a selection of events offered in each season of a Series but their completion is counted for all four seasons of a Series. Completing a Monthly Event in a later season of a Series counts as a completion in any expired seasons of that Series.

So I started playing the game via EA Access on Xbox One today, played til after the first night ends (30 mins or so) and hate how the car I picked (Nissan) handles. Now I want to reset the game progress so that it is like I have not played the game at all and start over from scratch and choose a different car. How do you do this? I have looked in the menus for a while and do not see a "reset" option

So I also had an issue where I wanted to restart the career fully (car glitched with unremovable and unupgradeable parts)

But on Xbox One I manged to get my game to reset the career progression by deleting my save file and rather than just telling it to delete off the Xbox I told it to delete everywhere so it also got rid of the cloud save game as well.

Press the Xbox button to open the guide, and then select My games and apps.

Highlight the game, press the Menu button on your controller, and then select Manage game.

In the menu on the left of the screen, scroll down to Saved Data, then highlight the saved data for your gamertag on the right and press the A button on your controller.

You'll be prompted to confirm deletion of this game save data:

Delete from console removes the local copy of this save. You can get it from the cloud the next time you play.

*Delete everywhere removes your saved data from this console, the cloud, and all other consoles you play on. ( select this option )

Cancel leaves your data intact.

How do I erase the saved game so I can start all over in nfs heat on Xbox one? My game won't load due to a bug issue and it's just freezes on the main screen. Don't know what do to but just erase the game file and start over

Forza Horizon games are set up around the music festivals. The fan base grows as you win more matches. Depending upon the difficulty level you get different amounts of money by winning races. You can use this money to customize your current ride or buy a new one from the garage.

If your game is glitching or you just want to restart progress on Forza Horizon 3 then you can easily do that by deleting the saved data from your Xbox One. You will have two options while deleting the saved data. You can either remove the data from your console only or remove it from everywhere.

You also need to be careful not to delete the saved data for your other games as that can wipe progress on all of the games you selected. You will then have to start from scratch and work your way up the ladder. A few users mentioned a way that can be used to preserve your cars even after the reset procedure.

You just need to list all your expensive cars on the auction house for the highest price. That way no one will buy the car and once you restart progress and level up, you can then take them off the auction house and you will have new cars for free.
