Hi People,

So the surveys are in and it looks like the best day will be 5pm on Thursday, 12/17/12 (5 days after the end of the world). As for the location, not many ideas came up so maybe we can just tell Tina to pick the place based on her richer knowledge of the area and her kids' preferences. If anyone has anything to add or suggest, let me know. Otherwise, will email Tina to let her know of the date this weekend.

Regarding a parting gift, if everyone would be willing to donate $15, that would allow us to buy a $50 gift card to a spa not far from where Tina lives and a $20 bouquet of flowers. Sound good? Bring cash next week and I can get the card and flowers unless someone else really wants to.

Yay!! Thanks for organizing Nick. I'm super excited. Also, I think the gift idea sounds lovely.

Just one point of clarification.... the 17th is Monday, the 20th is Thursday. Soo, which one? :)

Perfect, thanks! Another clarification... the world is actually ending the next day, Friday the 21st 2012. Though apparently the scientists at NASA disagree and have assembled a handy-dandy FAQ sheet to answer all your questions (our tax dollars hard at work!).
