I just recieved an email, through the STX Gun Owners Group that appears to be a carrier for Trojan, spoof, a Bot or such. I'm not the expert on these things but I am concerned that someone may have their address list compromised and may spread malicious software.

It appears to be from "Mark Wakefield", has no subject and contains a link to a site that is trying to sell stuff that most of us probably don't need.

If anyone can make a better evaluation of the email that I am referring to and offer good recommendations and what, if anything needs to be done, it would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Scott Whitcher

PS:
Just because it shows to be from someone doesn't necessarily mean that they actually sent it. It had a machine that got infected with one of these things a few years ago. I only found out because some of my friends asked if I was selling "Canadian Viagra" and told me that they had recieved such an email. When I checked my "Outbox", I found that there were messages sent to everyone in my address list but I knew I hadn't sent them.
