Washington DC needs your guidance

Good Evening,

Have you read the proposed bill on Dianne Feinstein's website?!

I am taking a moment to plead with my fellow responsible firearm owners, operators, sportsman and patriots.

The proposed legislation that will be presented on Capitol Hill on January 3rd, 2013 is extremely alarming. So much so that I believe that we must stand our ground here today and not budge.  Should we fragment and not present a unified voice on this matter, none of us would be worthy of celebrating the Fourth of July from this day forward.  It is my duty to remind us all that the Constitution states clearly that THE PEOPLE's right shall not be infringed.  

Infringe means;

Actively break the terms of (a law, agreement, etc.): "infringe a copyright". Act so as to limit or undermine (something); encroach on: "infringe on his privacy".

While I do not want to patronize anyone, I have been guilty of staying silent at times and assumed that legislators, civil servants and pro Constitution lobbyist would ensure the safe path of the nation.  I can no longer assume that to be true, and to be quite honest, they need our help in Washington DC.  Time, conversation, monetary contributions, phone calls, emails, awareness presentations, and history lessons need to occur IMMEDIATELY.  I for one desire to have a clear conscience when my children and grandchildren ask me what I did to preserve our freedoms.  I am sure you feel the same.

Please understand the following:

1-The Second Amendment was never about hunting.  It was about Defense from Tyranny, and the Revolution that had just occurred.

2-More people die from lung cancer, car crashes, suicide and other means than firearm homicide.

3-Well over 30 million firearm owners did not murder anyone yesterday...or the day before.

4-If guns are so evil, the actors, politicians, and other protectionists should lead by example and fire their security.  Who's paranoid, us or them?  I can't afford security.

5-Why do law abiding citizens carry guns?  Because they cannot carry police officers.

6-Courts have ruled over and over...Police have no duty to protect.  You cannot sue them for not protecting.  That is the duty of the citizen and the purpose of the 2nd Amm.

7-Who is more paranoid?  Someone who carries a gun for protection?  Or someone who wants to ban guns because they trust no one to have them at all?

8-Asking why you NEED a 30 round magazine is to the 2nd Amm. as asking why you NEED to be Jewish, Christian or Muslim is to the the 1st Amm. FREEDOM.

9-The militia is NOT the National Guard, but are the People.  During the American Revolution the Tories were the organized militia that were loyal to the British Crown, they were oppressors, which is why the document states clearly that the People were the focus.

10-Why is there no conversation on the relationship between ALL mass shooters and the medication that they were taking that is labelled as potentially mind altering?

11-If a teacher is good enough to die while shielding a child from gunfire, why are they not trusted to have the option to shoot back?

12-I have faith that The Good Lord God will provide my daily bread, but I believe he expects me to fix my own sandwiches.  Just as I have faith that he is my protector, I believe that he has provided me with the means for me to defend my own family.
