Stuyvesant HS 50th Class of 1967 Reunion : One last (I promise !) Reminder

Hi Fellow 1967 Stuyvesant HS Graduates !!!

Hope this finds you and your families well. I can't believe it's been two full years since we started planning for our 50th Reunion of our Class of 1967 !

This will likely (!!!) be my last e mail on the subject, a final reminder for our 50th Reunion !!! So far, we have 145 attendees, and I've been very heartened by the response since the beginning of the year ! It's been, well, exponential !!! Thank you all !!!

A few reminders and logistics :

Date and Time of our Reunion : Saturday, June 24, starting at 5 PM.

Place : The "new" Stuyvesant HS, 345 Chambers Street, Cafeteria on the 5th Floor. The festivities will go on from 5-10 PM.

There will be with a special film, entitled The 100 Years Show, featuring former Stuy Teacher, Jesse Loewenthal starting at 4:30 (we will have other showings of this film, if requested, throughout the evening).

Parking : At nearby garages within a block or two of the school

Public Transportation : 

#s 1,2,3 trains to Chambers St, 

#s 2, 3 trains to Park Place

A, C, E trains to Chambers St, 

N, R, W trains to Cortlandt St, 

PATH Trains to WTC Station, 

Bus M55.

Food and Entertainment : 

Open Bar from 5-9:30 PM

Appetizers passed out from 5:15 - 6:15 PM

Buffet dinner from 6:45 - 8 PM

Dessert from 8:30 - 9:30 PM

DJ playing 1960s, /70s/ 80s music from 5 - 10 PM. Dance the night away !!

Free Gifts (to Alums only, please) : Stuyvesant Centennial book and Coffee Mugs.

The current Stuy Principal, Eric Contreras, will be there to welcome us.

I look forward to seeing, and speaking with, all of you, and reminiscing (we all have great stories, I'm sure !!)  about our years at Stuy !! 

I am happy to say that Stuy, today, is every bit the excellent school it was 50 years ago, and continues to represent the American Dream to new generations of students !!

And, of course, it is NOW COED (since 1970--crap !! We just missed it !!) !!!
