Hi, My Fellow 1967 Graduates and Alumni

OK, so I "lied" ! The previous e mail I sent, last week, was NOT my last on our Reunion. 

Here's one more, to announce that there will be a Tour of the new school (at 345 Chambers St) prior to our Reunion, starting at 3:30 at the Stuy Alumni Office, Room 101 on the first floor. I'm, still trying to get the custodian of our old building to arrange a tour of the old 15th St, 1st Ave "campus" (I use that term loosely), but so far no luck, due to NYC red tape, insurance considerations, et al. 

However, at least, the new school, where we are having our event, has one classroom which is an exact replicate of the ones we, er, er, umm, "enjoyed" on 15th St !!

So, once again, for the last time, here's the sequence of events for this Saturday's Reunion.

Place : Stuyvesant HS, 5th Floor Cafeteria

Times : This Saturday, June 25, starting at 5 PM

              a) Hors d'oeuvres get passed out from 5 to 6:15 PM

              b) Music from the '60s, '70s and '80s starts at 5; dancing goes on continuously !

Dance the night away (until about 10 PM, anyway !)

              c) Buffet Dinner begins at about 6:45

              d) Dessert and Coffee/Tea, et al starts at about 8:30

SPECIAL EVENTS : 

              a) Tour of the "new" Stuyvesant, including a look at an old classroom, brought in from our old 15th Street building. Meet Rachael in Room 101 (first floor) at 3:30 PM

               b) Film, "The One Hundred Years", a 37 minute film made by former Stuy teacher Jesse Loewenthal, about his wife artist Carmen Herrera, starting at 4:30 PM in the cafeteria.

DRESS :  Casual, please be comfortable. FYI, I'm not wearing a jacket (are you kidding ? It's summer !!).
