Hey everyone,
The supervisors who run our CU summer camp for adolescents who stutter are looking for mentors. Here's their message:
Hi all! I’m reaching out to see if there are any adults who stutter in the Denver/Boulder, CO area who’d be interested in joining as a mentor for a day (or part of a day) at Colorado Speaks Camp at CU Boulder this summer. Allegra and I co-direct this camp for
teens who stutter, and it’s a really wonderful time. The mentor role is to enjoy getting to know the group, participate in fun camp activities, and share whatever you’re comfortable with about your own experiences. The camp runs June 8-13, and we’re especially
hoping to find someone for Wednesday or Thursday of that week, but we’ll take any day! Please let us know if you’re interested, and we can send you more info.
