Hi
Ryan,
We’re excited to share
two new research opportunities designed to center the lived experiences of adults who stutter. Both include compensation for your time.
1. Virtual Reality Avatars That Stutter (George Washington University)
This study is creating realistic virtual reality avatars that stutter, to be used in student clinical education. Your input
will help shape the avatars' design and the therapy scenarios they model.
-
Involves a Zoom interview and two short surveys (about 1.25 hours total)
-
You’ll receive $50 compensation through GWU’s Advarra system
-
To participate, email Dr. Shelley Brundage at
brun...@gwu.edu
-
GWU IRB #: NCR246007
2. The Daily Lives of Adults Who Stutter (Claremont Graduate University)
This online study explores how daily experiences differ among adults who stutter and how those differences shape the stuttering
journey.
For questions, reach out to Dr. Jeanne Nakamura at
jeanne....@gmail.com
and/or Rebecca Donaldson, M.S., CCC-SLP, at rebecca....@cgu.edu
Contributing to one or both studies is a valuable way to support meaningful progress in stuttering research. Thank you for your
time and interest!
