I think we only have about ten submissions.

I was thinking we could offer a public extension, like this:

Dear Undergroundians, we feel we didn't warn you enough about the Travel issue's deadline (July 23rd) and we've received a few requests for extensions. So, we are offering a broad extension and everyone has until August 14th to submit a late piece to the travel issue!

Also, we don't really have any color submissions. Can I offer to Leda to ask if she would like to do the cover? Is that weird?

Thanks,
Blue

That sounds good. Also, I will be submitting a multiple-page thing,
still putting it together.

I think offering the cover to Leda might be a little weird, like we're
doing it out of pity or something? I dunno, someone else should weigh
in.

I don't necessarily think it would be weird. It might be a nice gesture just to suggest it to her.

i don't think it's weird we have asked people to do the cover before.

I asked her at PZS and she agreed!

This was cute but not quite up to our standard I think. I vote no.

I vote yes. It may not be drawn well, but I kind of like that last panel where the hippo is just looking down in shame.
