Though this is probably a cultural differences thing, I'm leery of
publishing any writing that uses the word "negro"... and I don't think
this is a particularly strong piece anyhow, so I vote no.

Whew, that was an interesting journey, reading that. I think he may have written it in spanish then used some translator program which skewed everything. But it was kind of fun trying to figure out what he was trying to say. The negro bit was a tad off putting. It may have been a cultural thing or a mistranslation. We could ask him to word it differently. He didn't connect it with anything negative. Overall, though, I kind of liked it. A different perspective and a different style for sure, but I vote yes. With that possible change.

I also liked, "Perhaps with you it could have a ticket to ride." in his email. 8)
