I wanted to write to, once again, extend my apologies to you, but also to propose a couple solutions. We are happy to redo the science issue to include you because we actually all really loved your comic and wanted it in. When we were talking yesterday, however, we also thought about asking you if you'd like / feel comfortable with / prefer for us to put it out in our travel issue, coming out in about a month, as it is also appropriate for that theme. 

What do you think about that idea? It's really up to you, because we feel rotten about what happened and want to fix it the way you'd most prefer.

We haven't sorted the title, actually. The cover art you have come up with may help influence our title ideas, so if you wanted to send a low res preview, that would be so rad. 

We are also probably also going to delay the release and do another submissions call for it because we just didn't get enough quality submissions, it may be a sort of invite-only extension. So, the issue would be coming out in the beginning of November. I am definitely glad to hear you are almost finished doing the cover, because I know that will be crazy good quality!
