Just two days away..

Stumptown Underground is quite pleased to announce that 
our "Everyone Do the Robot!" release party 
will be held at The Fez with Jon Guac! 

Where: The Fez318 SW 11th Ave
What: "Everyone Do the Robot!" Zine Release Party  
Who: Jon Guac and Stumptown Underground 
When: Thursday, April 22nd 
Time: 8pm-11pm


Our release party for "Everyone Do the Robot!" will be April 22nd at Fez,cohosted by Portland famous robot lover, Jon Guac (aka DJ Horrid), from 8pm-11pm (you can stay until bar close, but we can't guarantee we'll be there that late)

You'll be able to meet and greet with the issue's contributors, purchase copies of"Everyone Do the Robot!" for $5 (contributors get 1 copy each) before all your friendsand dance the night away with electro/EBM/80s/goth tunes fit for robot lovers provided by DJ Horrid, who you may know as the owner of Robot Piercing and the organizer of Portland's own Robot Beauty Pageant. 

So, come dance, celebrate, and get amped up with Stumptown Underground for the weekend of Stumptown Comics Fest-- full of several other great events!
 
"Everyone Do the Robot!" is the eighth monthly anthology from Stumptown Underground, centralized around the theme of robots In this issue, you'll find comics, writing, and illustrations from the likes of Ryan Alexander-Tanner, Djoser Fortunato, John Landolfe, Acey Thompson, Ben Bush, Hollyanna McColm, Sean Christensen, Theo Ellsworth, and many more. 


We will be getting an online preview up soon, so stay tuned!

Stumptown Underground is a zine collective, publishing monthly issues that include pretty much anything you can put in a zine (writing, comics, illustrations, reviews, recipes, etc) and centralized around a different theme each month. Our purpose in doing this monthly zine is to give ourselves and the people who submit the opportunity to be inspired by monthly themes to create more, to get more of their creative work out in the world, and to build community. I thought we said we were going to sell robots for $7.
Maybe we should make that clear in the next newsletter that's sent out about SCF.

Correction everyone, due to it's unexpected largeness, "Everyone Do the Robot!" will be $7, like "Monsters" and "For You Pleasure"

Sorry everyone, I was delirious from piecing this issue together and printing tonight.
