The Erasmus Mundus Masters Program in Public Policy (Mundus MAPP) is a
2-year-long international Masters course that embeds the nascent field
of transnational public policy into a European context. It is funded
by the European Commission, and operated by a consortium of four
leading European institutions: the Central European University in
Budapest (Hungary) as coordinating institution, the Institut Barcelona
d'Estudis Internacionals (IBEI) in Spain; the Institute of Social
Studies (ISS) of Erasmus University Rotterdam, located in The Hague
(Netherlands); and the University of York in the UK.

The European Commission's Erasmus Mundus program provides scholarships
to outstanding students from within and outside the European Union to
attend Mundus MAPP and to visiting scholars to participate in teaching
and research. The Consortium universities also support these students
by offering partial tuition fee waivers to Erasmus Mundus scholarship
recipients.

Mundus MAPP graduates receive two of the following MA degrees as well
as a diploma supplement at the end of their studies:

- MA in Development Studies from the Institute of Social Studies; OR
- MA in Public Administration and Public Policy from the University of
York.

In combination with:

- MA in Public Policy from the Central European University; OR
- MA in International Relations from the Barcelona Institute of
International Studies
