Hi all. I just proposed a presentation at
osurb.heroku.com. Not sure
if that goes out to the mailing list or what, but I figured I'd send
an email about it as well. I picked a date because there was a field
for it, but I could do it whenever. Here's the description:
I'm the founder of Memorize.com, a local ruby-based startup out of the
short north. I'd like to come in and do a presentation and meet the
ruby enthusiasts at OSU. I've presented many times at the Columbus
Ruby Brigade - I could do it on a number of topics - doesn't really
matter. I recently did a "Document Databases" presentation there, and
could do that presentation in about 30 minutes, but I could also come
up with something more ruby-focused if you'd like. I could also (or
instead) present on my open source framework (
xiki.org) which is ruby-
based. I'd also like to announce at the meeting that we're looking for
a summer intern (a programmer). It's a pretty great opportunity for
the right student.
