After going over Ardour installation with the HND1 I have written a
beginners guide to building Ardour on a fresh install of Ubuntu.

I'll keep this up-to-date. Please let me know if there are any
mistakes.

Specifically for the HND1 students, I have zipped the screenshots
taken in the session (Ardour Build Screenshots) and put them in the

Ardour 2.4 is now available. I've slightly updated the Linux guide to
reflect some minor changes.
