A special event ~

Hello friends, Once in awhile an opportunity arises to lend a helping
hand. This is an amazing story of inspiration!

Just a few months ago, a young family in Austin, Tx suffered a tragic
accident. Their oldest son, JD, nearly drowned. For several days,
they did not know if he would live, but he is a fighter and he
survived. He has been in a coma - at various levels - since the
accident, but he is making strides toward recovery. Every day seems
to have encouragements, in spite of difficulties. The road has been
and will be long. The family has incurred many expenses that are not
met by insurance.

This family is a wonderful example of faith being strengthened by
fire. I am conducting an auction of one of my paintings, Twilight (a
Southwest landscape) to try to help. The profits from that sale will
be donated to JD's ongoing expenses.
