A new landscape painting... "What Remains"

Hi everyone! My summer school class is finished - and so is my
latest landscape painting! It is quite representative of northern IL
farmland that is vanishing day by day... I've commented on it - the
technique and my goals for it - on my blog.

Along with the work I've been doing on this latest painting, I've also
been working steadily on the redesign of my website. It is not quite
finished, but I think it will be easier to navigate when I'm
finished. I'll let you know, and I hope you'll look at it and let me
know what you think!

So far, it has been a great summer - - - busy, but in lots of ways
much more restful than during the school year. I'm enjoying to change
of pace!

Also, a quick welcome to our newest members! Glad to have you as one
of my friends!
