Hi Everyone,

I thought I would pass on a little information about GreenBuild incase anyone is interested.  The conference will be held November 17-19 in Chicago (McCormick Place I believe).  The USGBC offers a student discount for registration that brings the cost from $700 to $225 with proof of student status.  The registration fee includes 6 education sessions, access to the exhibit hall, lunch Wed and Thurs, and various conference freebies.

I know on our budget $225 can seem like alot of money, but its not a bad price for a 3 day conference.  The education sessions are typically case study based and are lead by architecture/ consulting/ development firms from across the country.  As an example: Prof Anand is participating in the discussion for "Net Zero Energy & LEED Platinum: Breaking Ground in Chicago."

After tomorrow the registration cost for students will go from $225 to $300.  I will have the education sessions listing in studio tomorrow if anyone wants to take a look.

Let me know if you have any questions.

-Andrea
