Vertical Drama: From Micro to Macro

Tuesday 23 June

Join our panel of pioneers shaping the fast-growing vertical drama sector to discuss how these productions are made, funded and monetised, and the opportunities emerging for producers and creatives.

Chaired by Kim Chua, Partner at OC&C Strategy Consultants, the panel features:

Matt Campion, Founder and Creative Director at Spirit Studios, a digital studio expanding into the vertical drama space;

Marina Elderton, Co-Founder of TattleTV- the UK’s first home-grown vertical entertainment platform.

Yannis Ioannidis, former SVP Business Development at ITV Studios and TikTok and now advisor to RoseBerry, a premium vertical content studio and technology company building mobile-first entertainment;

Dan Löwenstein, a prolific vertical drama director with more than 20 productions to his name;

Samantha Sun, an early pioneer in microdrama who produced some of the UK’s earliest titles for Reelforce

RTS London Convention 2026

Tuesday 29 September at King's Place

The biennial event will be chaired by Tara Erer, Head of Northern European Originals, Prime Video and Amazon MGM Studios.

Titled United in Change: If Not Now, When?, the 2026 Convention will focus on the urgent need for collaboration and decisive action across the media and television industry – a rallying cry for the sector to come together, embrace change, and actively shape the future rather than wait for it to happen. The theme reflects a shared belief that this is a moment to energise and embolden our industry, not one to fear.

The first set of industry leaders confirmed to speak at the Convention includes: Kelly Day, VP, Prime Video International; Priya Dogra, Chief Executive of Channel 4; Dame Carolyn McCall, CEO, ITV and Reemah Sakaan, President of 5.
