There's still plenty to see and do at Outpouring, the creative project from street artist Joe Caslin and Nerve Centre, co-created with young people from across Belfast.

We are delivering a free programme of events as part of the installation, including:

Northern Ireland Now: Access for All in the Archive — 26 June, 1pm

Tenx9 at Outpouring: When I Was Young — 26 June, 7.30pm

Northern Ireland Now: Diverse Voices in the Archive — 3 July, 1pm

You do not need to book to visit the installation, but all of the above events require booking.

Opening Times: Thursday–Sunday, 11am–4pm, until and including 5 July
Late Night Art: Thursday 2 July, 5–9pm

Bringing Life to Our Historical Heritage

Bringing Life to Our Historical Heritage is an intergenerational creative programme where we will be using immersive technologies to bring stories of the past back to life, inspired by heritage sites such as Whitespots Country Park and the North Down Coastal Path.

We're offering two types of sessions:

For 16–25 year olds — a free week-long programme offering hands-on experience with the latest creative technologies, including VR, AR and XR content creation. Participants will work alongside industry professionals to create immersive heritage experiences.

For people aged 55+ — an opportunity to share memories, stories and local knowledge of Whitespots Country Park and the North Down Coastal Path. Whether you have stories of visiting Helen's Tower as a child or going to the old Pickie Pool, your experiences will help inspire the immersive digital experiences created by younger participants. No technical experience is required.

The Big Thing | Immersive Arts UK

Spend 3 days in Llandudno and connect with the immersive arts community.

This year's The Big Thing, an annual gathering by Immersive Arts UK, is an opportunity for the immersive arts community — at any stage in their journey — to connect, spark new ideas, and push the boundaries of their practice.

It brings together artists, producers, technologists, researchers and the wider ecosystem of venues, distributors, curators and funders from the UK and beyond, with hands-on workshops, immersive artworks, inspiring keynotes, thought-provoking discussions, and lots more.

Dates: Wednesday 8 – Friday 11 September

At this free five-day Games Jam, you'll team up with other young creatives to develop a brand-new game concept — no experience required.

Creative Media Courses

Want to up-skill or completely change your career focus?

We are offering free Creative Media Courses, including Creative Media, Music Production and Performance, and Digital Film and Media Production.

All courses are fully accredited by Open College Network Northern Ireland (OCN NI) at Level 3 and delivered in partnership with South West College. On successful completion, participants will be awarded a Certificate in Creative Arts and Digital Technology.

Northern Ireland Now Celebrates its Finale in Outpouring

Northern Ireland Now is currently complementing the Outpouring installation at Riddel's Warehouse in Belfast with an archive cinema space, and we're running a series of screening events as part of the project.
