As the festive season gets underway, we are looking ahead to 2023 and our ambitious and exciting year-round programme of films and outreach events.

Secondary school students can still avail of our free online film programmes, available direct to classrooms, until 21st December. See below for details.

Your support has enabled us to provide our unique outreach programmes to over 6,000 young people since 2019. If you are able, a donation, no matter what the size, will help us enormously.

Finally, congratulations to filmmaker Maximilian Le Cain who has just been announced as UCC Film Artist in Residence for 2023. We work with Max across many of our young people's film workshops, including Look@Me. We wish him, and outgoing UCC Film Artist Yvonne McDevitt, every success.

FREE ONLINE PROGRAMMES FOR YOUNG PEOPLE
Intinn, our film and mental health programme for young people, is available for FREE online to Transition Year students nationwide until Wednesday, 21st December.

Intinn is CIFF’s award-winning national film and wellbeing programme that offers young people the opportunity to explore mental health, personal well-being and strategies of resilience through short films and pre-recorded well-being workshops led by youth mental health specialists, accompanied by specially developed Students and Teachers’ Resource Packs.

Intinn is proudly supported by ESB Energy for Generations, UCC, Gate Cinemas, Cork County Council and Cork City Council.

We are delighted to present the 1922 Commemoration screening of the short documentary Engagement & Endurance: Cork City Women in the 1920s for FREE online to secondary school students nationwide until Wednesday, 21st December.

Exploring themes of loss, political engagement, social justice and conflicting loyalties, this short documentary focuses on the often overlooked role played by Cork women in the turbulent period of the struggle for independence.
