Join us with renowned commercial cd Arlene Schuster of ASG Casting and gain invaluable insight into how virtual callbacks actually work! What You’ll Observe:During the session, we will showcase commercial self-tapes with copy assigned by Arlene. Arlene will provide live notes, adjustments, and re-direction, exactly as she would in a real commercial callback. Actors who are participating will then have the opportunity to apply those notes and perform a re-direct, allowing observers to see how adjustments are made. This is an excellent opportunity to learn by watching actors wanting to sharpen their callback skills and prepare for a booking season! ARLENE’S BIO: Arlene brings decades of expertise spanning national campaigns, studio comedy, digital casting innovation, and actor development. A pioneer in the creation of Casting Networks’ original template and co-creator of SAG-AFTRA–approved TheWaitingRoom, Arlene continues to shape how commercials are cast and how actors thrive in the process. Arlene built her resume to include a great breath of work: everything from commercial campaigns to half-hour dramedies and reality shows. A pioneer in digital casting, Arlene developed Master Caster, a program template for LaCasting, which would become the predecessor to the now globally-used casting program, Casting Networks.
