As some of you might be aware, we were scheduled to be screening at the CCA in Glasgow on the 14th of March. But unfortunately, the CCA has sadly closed its doors. We're sad for the people who have lost their jobs, and those who lost a home, as well as seeing a venue we fairly cherish, as it was the first Glasgow venue we ever screened in over a decade ago. Fingers crossed that the venue can rise from the ashes in the near future.
So we are thankful to GMAC again for letting us take over and bring the Short Com fun on the 28th of March between 14:00 and 20:00, which will be separated by three individual back-to-back programmes.
14:00 - 15:30 - Funimation - 90 minutes of the funniest new animated shorts.
16:00 - 17:30 - Queer as Joke - Celebrating exciting, funny film talent and stories by the LGBTQ+ community.
18:00 - 20:00 - Mixed Nuts - As it says on the tin. An eclectic programme of the funniest shorts from the latest Short Com selection.
Day passes for £20 are available via the GICF website here. We will be operating a pay-what-you-can at the venue, with profits going to GMAC. There will be individual ticket links for each programme in the coming days. As well as further details on the programme of films for each programme.
