Hello all,

Hope you are all well.

We are working on a fun script for an Energy provider. This campaign is full of life & fun!

This is a quick turnaround so would love suggestions as soon as you can.

SG Casting are committed to diverse & inclusive casting. We would love to hear from talent for each role, without regard to disability, sexual orientation or gender identity, race, age, or colour.

Featured cast should not have featured in any advertisements in the energy industry in past three years.

If the below fees outlined do not meet your minimums, we understand, and we shall see you on the next one!

Due to volume, we can only get back to those who fit the bill. If that is not you/your client, we will see you for the next one.

To apply, please send headshot & availability to assi...@sgcastingco.com

CHARACTER BRIEFS:

JIM

Male-identifying

40s

Must have a full, clean drivers license.

Ordinary, relatable guy who carries the spot through reaction and physical comedy - startled, disbelieving, then swept along for the ride. Needs strong face work and confident physical comedy (including the reverse running man), played warm and self-deprecating rather than broad. Likeable and a bit gormless, but someone the audience roots for.

CIARA

Female-identifying

30s

Warm and completely unbothered while chaos unfolds around her, the calm, dry centre of the script. Delivers her lines (including the closing "Easy!") through understatement and a knowing smile, not played for laughs. Natural, trustworthy screen presence.

SAIBH (MUM)

Female-identifying

50s

Busy, organised homeowner type for whom sorting the heating oil is just another job done. Delivers her line briskly and matter-of-factly, not performed for camera. Warm but efficient, feels like a real person, not a presenter.

DAVE

Male-identifying

60s – 70s

Relaxed, sun-loving retiree with a playful, boyish glint, enjoying the fruits of his solar panels. Slightly bigger, more theatrical energy than the rest of the cast. Mischievous granddad vibe. Comfortable being a little silly with punchy comic delivery.

KID

Male or female-identifying

10-12 years old

Charming, unselfconscious child performer with easy screen presence. Holds a quiet beat, then reacts with genuine delight as Jim glides past. Naturalistic performer.
