We are delighted to announce that internationally acclaimed writer Patrick Radden Keefe is returning to Seamus Heaney HomePlace to discuss his highly anticipated new book, London Falling, in conversation with John Self.
Keefe is the bestselling author of Say Nothing, his landmark account of murder and memory during the Troubles — named one of the New York Times’ 20 Best Books of the 21st Century and later adapted into a major Disney+ series — as well as the Baillie Gifford Prize-winning Empire of Pain.
A staff writer at The New Yorker and recipient of both the Orwell Prize for Political Writing and the National Book Critics Circle Award for Nonfiction, Keefe is celebrated for his gripping, deeply reported storytelling. In his powerful new book London Falling, he follows a grieving family’s search for answers after the mysterious death of their teenage son reveals a hidden life shaped by fantasy, privilege and the dangerous undercurrents of a gilded city.
