Howard has been nominated for three Emmy Awards for Outstanding Casting and 26 Artios Awards for excellence in casting, winning the honor three times!

A leader in the casting community, he has served as Vice President of the Casting Society of America and is currently a Governor of the Television Academy.
For this workshop, Howard will be assigning scenes specifically tailored to each actor, so participants must submit a headshot and resume immediately upon reserving their spot.

Howard has cast a wide range of projects across genres, including single-cam and multi-cam pilots and series, animation, TV movies, and indie films. His credits span major studios and platforms such as ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox, HBO Max, Netflix, Disney+, Disney Channel, Nickelodeon, Peacock, DreamWorks, Sony Pictures Television, 20th Television, and Warner Bros. Television.
His process is rooted in identifying the most honest, specific, and grounded choices in performance, always with the writer’s intent in mind.
Whether casting for streaming or network television, or collaborating with legendary playwrights like Gore Vidal and Elaine May, Howard’s guiding principle is to find the talent that brings the writer’s vision to life, with authenticity, honesty, and heart.
