Invitation sent from Belfast City Council's Culture Team, on behalf of Belfast City Council's Community Safety Unit.

Belfast is working to end violence against women & girls
There is something everyone can do.
Let's do it together.

Ending Violence Against Women and Girls
Culture & Arts Sector Engagement session

Belfast City Council is supporting the Executive Office’s Strategic Direction to End Violence Against Women and Girls (EVAWG).

It’s really positive to see local cultural organisations delivering impactful projects with awards from last year’s EVAWG Local Change Fund grants - but we know there is still more to do.

Please join us to consider what the strategy means in practice for the culture and arts sector and, in particular, how our council can support you, your colleagues, and your audiences.

There will be a brief presentation, followed by a discussion - all fuelled with some food!

 Join us on:

  • Wednesday 11 March, 4pm-6pm, Black Box, 18-22 Hill Street, Belfast BT1 2LA
  • Friday 27 March, 12pm- 2pm, Crescent Arts Centre, 2-4 University Rd, Belfast BT7 1NH

Register to attend at endvi...@belfastcity.gov.uk - and tell us which session you are booking for.

Please help us circulate this invitation by sharing with any artists or partner organisations you work with.
