We know that financial insecurity is impacting musicians and other music industry creatives. This event is for you - share your experience, join the discussion to ensure you are part of shaping the basic income pilot in scotland promised by the SNP.
Basic Income Network Scotland and Basic Income Conversation are hosting this Conversation to:
- Discuss what a basic income would mean for musicians and music industry creatives in Scotland and their creative practice.
- Share some insight into universal basic income and the basic income for artists scheme in Ireland.
- Explore what next steps we might want to take to make the case for a basic income for artists in Scotland.
Join us to discuss the challenges facing musicians and other creatives in Scotland's music industry, and explore the difference a basic income could make. In small, supportive group conversations, you'll get the chance to share ideas and connect with others working across the creative sector.
