Join us for a workshop on querying – starting today.

Hi Stu,

If you want to convince an agent or publisher to take interest in your book, you need to make a strong first impression. We have a few spots left in our two-day workshop starting later today — join us and learn how to write and submit a persuasive query letter.

In four sessions over two days, editor Meg Toth will guide you through writing each part of a query letter, from your opening hook to your sample pages. You will learn:

  • What to include and what to leave out
  • How to craft a killer first line and which sample pages to send
  • Where to find the right agent for your book
  • Best practices for submitting your query

There will also be an opportunity to submit your own query letter for live feedback, and plenty of time for questions. Finally, you'll get a copy of Reedsy's exclusive query letter ebook with tips from literary agents.

📅 Tuesday, April 14th & 28th (starting today)

🕙 3-5pm EST

🎟️ $99, or included with a Reedsy Learning Membership

📺 Online (recordings available for 28 days)

The workshop will primarily focus on fiction, but Meg will cover special considerations for memoir and non-fiction authors.

Hope to see you there,

Felicia, Head of Learning @ Reedsy
