I went to West Cork on the 6th of June with my daughter as she had come home for the June Bank Holiday. While I was there I put up poetry quotations around the town of Clonakilty as part of a Poetry in the Community initiative about education, in conjunction with Pakistani poet, Anila Bukhari. She did the same in Pakistan. |

I was in many places in West Cork while I was down there. Two of my sisters came over from England, and we also have another sister who lives in West Cork. The main reasons for getting together was Mum’s anniversary on the 13th June; what would have been Mum’s birthday on the 14th June, and to get Mum’s house ready to sell. |

When I came back from West Cork I put up the poetry quotation posters up in Longford library and Athena Gallery coffee and craft shop. |

Last weekend my husband had a nice weekend in Co. Clare visiting family. We had a nice walk along the front in Lahinch |
