The Open House summer season is underway and that means it's time for the annual Picnic in the Park shows. Each year, we're joined at the bandstand in Bangor's Ward Park by some of the greatest local talent to provide you with exceptional Sunday afternoons of free music. This year's lineup also features two performances from the Open House Festival Choir.

First up this Sunday 7th July is Belfast soul band The Gold Tips. They're soaked in a deep love of Sam Cooke, Stax & Rock'n'Roll and have opened for the legendary Nile Rodgers & Chic as well as Van Morrison. Perfect feel good tunes for a chilled afternoon in the park.

You are welcome to bring a picnic and your own refreshments ā but please bring your rubbish home with you to recycle or use the recycling hub at the park. Be respectful to the beautiful surroundings and other members of the public.
