Our 32nd Award, closes this Sunday, 1st February at midnight GMT. Thank you to everyone who has entered so far.

For flash fictions of up to 300 words on any subject or theme.

£9 for one entry, £15 for two entries, £18 for three entries.

Judge: award-winning, writer, editor, writing tutor and co-director of National Flash Fiction Day, UK, Ingrid Jendzrejewski.

£1000 first prize, £300 second prize £100 third prize. £30 each for two highly commended writers. All fifty long listed writers offered publication in the 2026 BFFA anthology. Free paperback copy for all contributors to the anthology.

Results out by end of February.
