Dear Stu,

An empowered and active citizenry is more critical now than ever.

We confront complex and multifaceted challenges: from rising global inequality to a worsening climate crisis, from rapidly advancing new technologies to the erosion of democratic norms.

The people of the Commonwealth need opportunities to organise, collaborate, and develop solutions.

That’s why I’m excited to share that the next Commonwealth People’s Forum will take place in November 2026 in Antigua and Barbuda.

The People’s Forum takes place in the wings of the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting and feeds into it. It is the largest gathering of civil society in the Commonwealth system—a celebration of shared values and diverse cultures and a powerful force for progress.

If you’d like to stay updated on the 2026 People’s Forum, you can let us know here.

At this critical moment in history, when our common values and principles are being put to the test, we must continue to build global solidarity and forge a better future.

Warmest wishes,

Razmi
