Celebrating the Best of the North West
Join us for our final show of 2022! Constellations: Best of the Northwest is a spectacular show that brings together nine of our best local companies for the first time ever. Featuring performances from the Letterkenny Music and Drama Group, Workhouse Theatre Company, Pinehill Studios, Zara Holmes Performing Arts Academy, Rainbow Theatre Group, ZoNa Dance Company, Lifford Players Drama Group, An Grianán Youth Theatre and Triumph Performing Arts.

Exhibition Opening and Free Matinee Performance this Saturday
1pm: Launch of Ukrainian Art pop up art exhibition
1.45pm: Performance by Olesya Zdorovetska
Improvised Music Company (IMC) and An Grianán are delighted to announce a special performance with our Navigator artist in residence, Ukrainian musician Olesya Zdorovetska.
For this free matinee concert Olesya will be joined by some special guests for a performance that will combine music and spoken word. This free event will take place in our auditorium at 1.45pm on Saturday 10 December, no pre-booking is necessary.

'Birds Flying High' Ukrainian Art Exhibition Opening
Also on Saturday just before Olesya's performance we will be holding the launch of a pop up exhibition of Ukrainian art. The exhibition will feature over 60 paintings by Ukrainian artists, both amateur and professional. As well as art the opening will offer a taste of Ukraine with edible treats and some handmade crafts for sale on the day.
Official launch is at 1pm and will be opened Cathaoirleach of Letterkenny Municipal District, Cllr. Donal Mandy Kelly. The exhibition will continue for a week and unsold paintings will be auctioned at 6pm on Sat 17 Dec.

After their fantastic production of Friel's Translations we're delighted to announce that the Abbey Theatre will return this spring with Molière’s Tartuffe in a new version by Frank McGuinness and directed by Caitríona McLaughlin. A 17th century classic, given an audacious contemporary makeover by two of Donegal's most acclaimed theatre practitioners. Open for booking now.

More home grown Donegal goodness with our new drama Jimmy's Winnin' Matches. Written by Kieran Kelly, directed by Patrick McBrearty, produced by An Grianán Theatre and starring Louise Conaghan, Jimmy's Winning Matches celebrates what it means to come from Donegal through the eyes of one GAA fan.
