It is a hilarious, moving, powerfully political portrait of where Ireland is in 2025, telling the story of its vibrant music scene, but also that of a postcolonial society wrestling with its heritage. A society where folk music carries both the oppression of the past and the dream of a bright future.

Climate in Therapy is a humorous, inventive and serious experiment in which seven climate scientists meet in a godforsaken meeting room to engage in circle therapy about their shared climate anxiety. Can emotional honesty be part of the solution?
Screened with the short film Black Tide (Kim Yip Tong | France | 2025).
Followed by a discussion with UCC Prof Hannah Daly (renewable energy) and Dr Rosemary Keane (clinical psychologist) on Saturday 8 Nov. In partnership with University College Cork. An activity organised by the filmmakers will follow both screenings.
The screening on Wednesday 12 November will be presented with Closed Captions.
