[Bath Flash Fiction Award Alerts]

1. Our latest Award.

Early bird discounts for our 33rd Award end this Sunday, 12th April. Discounted entries cost £7.50 for one story and £12.00 for two. You can buy three entries for £18.00 during the life of the competition, which closes on June 7th. £1460 in prizes. Publication offer for 50 long listed stories. Judge, award winning writer and writing tutor, Alison Woodhouse from the UK. Interview with her coming soon.

2. John Brantingham. a former judge of the Bath Novella in Flash Award
In extremely sad news, we heard that prose and poetry writer and educator John Brantingham, died on Easter Sunday night. John was involved with the Bath Flash Fiction enterprises since 2018 when he came to the second Flash Fiction Festival in Bristol, and then a few years later he judged our Novella in Flash Award.. He was going to judge the February single flash award but we had postponed this until October. We will be sharing more about him in a post on the website shortly. We will miss John so much and send our deep condolences to Anne Brantingham, his wife and his daughter, Shaymaa.

3. The Flash Fiction Festival 17-19th July in Bristol, UK
Day tickets are now open for booking at the Flash Fiction Festival. Anyone who comes on Saturday or Sunday can also come to Friday night events at no extra cost.

For those wanting to come for the whole weekend, there is one room with two bunk beds still available for anyone who wants to share a room with a friend. Or to use the room singly. Camping spots are still also available. More details of all the fantastic workshops and schedule at flashfictonfestival.com where where you can also book via our registration form for the full weekend or for one day tickets. (Around 25 places left).
