| Hi Stu, Last week saw the launch of this year's Open House Festival, which runs between the 1st - 31st August in Bangor. There will be many events happening throughout the month in The Court House. Expect plenty of live music, DJ sets, literary events including talks with local and international writers as well as a pop-up market and film screenings. Tickets will sell fast for many events.

On Saturday, Pie Eyed return with their delicious hand-pressed pies alongside our Trad Sessions across both floors. We also have a couple of special events to mark Record Store Day. | | HOOKER | SUN 19 APRIL • DOORS 2.30PM | | |
| Hooker began life in the 70s as an acoustic trio playing a mellow set of original songs interlaced with some Eagles, CSNY and the like. Several decades and the odd personnel change have seen Hooker evolve into a 5-piece band, playing a set that is both bluesy and soulful. Expect some Joe Cocker, some Carlos Santana, some Van Morrison and some down and dirty 12-bar blues as Hooker return to the Court House. | | |

| Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown is the highest-grossing Spanish movie ever. This absurdist comedy directed by Pedro Almodóvar, released in 1988, charts the story of actress Pepe. Abandoned by her lover, she embarks on a voyage of discovery. It's raunchy, farcical and gloriously inventive. (In Spanish with English subtitles). | | |
