Stu, Hello and welcome to new subscribers, it’s been a bit quiet over here as some life changes worked their magic and led me to withdraw somewhat.
I return with an air of hesitation but, here I am, doing that thing on my list i’ve skiped past until.. ‘no more!!!!’ and hey, it actually feels fine. The world needs more musing, more creativity and wonderment and here’s my contribution.
Did you know the crescent moon is called a Gibbous? and that’s where waxing & waning comes from, the coming and going of the moon.
I also found out that you can preserve flowers by hanging them upside down. Amazing. They look cool also, kind of ghostly like an analogue photo.
I should be going to a Kurdish/Turkish singer in the concert hall tonight as my friend gave me a last minute ticket but, predictably, now I’m invested in this email and am pushing the time.
Ok so what I’ll do is go to the concert and tell you about it after advertising my next show.
The date is Sunday, April 19th. It’s a matinee - 4pm doors, 4:30pm start and 6pm clearout - in Anseo, that’s on Camden street.
Upstairs there’s this cute old fashioned room, like being in someone’s house.
