A lot of people know that I started out my online creative life as a writing coach.
Way back in 2013, I was blogging about writing.
I started out writing about the craft of writing, writing tips and tricks, how to find an agent, how to get published, etc.
I didn’t get much traction on anything.
Around that same time, I was really getting into MBTI personality theory.
I had just recently discovered I was an INFJ and it was life-changing.
Slowly, I started to connect the dots between my problems with writing and my INFJ-ness.
It was really interesting to me, so I started writing about that on my blog too.
And that was when I got my first real strong response and began to build any sort of audience.
What’s funny is that I waited longer than I should have to start writing about INFJ writers.
Because I thought maybe the connections I was making were too “out there” and kind of weird, and I worried that what I was thinking wouldn’t resonate with anyone.
But it turned out to resonate with a lot of people.
This was how I started to figure out who I really was in the online space, and what I stood for.
It was how I began to understand who I was, not only as a solopreneur, but as a creator too.
As a solopreneur (at that time), I realized that I needed to be a writing coach for INFJ and INFP writers.
And as a creator, I realized that I was an INFJ writer myself, and that identity couldn’t be divided from what I was offering my audience.
I find that this is the case for most INF creators.
Who we are as a creator can’t be separated from what we are offering to our audience.
This is why business and creativity are also a way different experience for INF people than for other types.
We have such thin boundaries that everything in our life—internal and external—is connected to everything else.
Like, with me, being an INFJ is intertwined with being a writer, which is intertwined with how I market to people, which is intertwined with my life purpose, which is intertwined with being an INFJ writer.
It’s a big circle. Or a big spiral.
And this is how INF solopreneurs and creators work.
What can happen, though, is that because we work so differently than other people, we can get tangled up in a whole lot of fear and self-doubt about the way we’re doing things.
And then—like me way back in 2013—we wait a lot longer than we should to take action and start making our dreams happen.
This problem of self-doubt, mindset, and fears came up A LOT in the most recent class I’ve been teaching (finishing this week).
It came up so much, in fact, that I couldn’t even get to all the questions that people asked me about it.
It made me see so clearly that INFJ and INFP creators have to focus on getting their mindset straight FIRST, before they try to gain real traction in their creative life or their business.
And that’s why I’m teaching my next class on exactly how to do this.
My new class is How to Show Up Strong as a Solopreneur, and it’s for solopreneurs who are trying to gain traction with an online business AND creators who might be just trying to gain traction online.
In this class, we’ll be focusing on:
Getting clear on your mindset for success.
Figuring out your niche (and no, all the good ones are not already taken).
Feeling good about charging what you’re worth.
Deciding on your long-term vision and strategy.
Whether you’re trying to grow a coaching business, or you’re just trying to get more people to read your writing on Substack, or you’re to figure out a feel-good way to grow your online presence as an artist, this class will have something for you.
You can find all the details and register here:
HOW TO SHOW UP STRONG AS A SOLOPRENEUR
Please note:
I designed this class to be a continuation of the last class I taught AND ALSO a standalone class. So, if you were in the last class, this class will be a nice push to keep your momentum going, and if you’re totally new, it’s a nice push to get you going where you need to be.
This class includes three live class sessions, one live Ask Me Anything session, and one live Level Up Coworking session, and ALL sessions will be recorded, with all registrants receiving links to the recordings 24 to 48 hours after the event.

P.S.
This class starts on Wednesday, March 11, which is coming up soon. We had a fantastic turnout for the last class, with many members connecting with others to network and collaborate. If you’re looking for like-minded artistic INF souls, this is your place and these are your people. Don’t procrastinate on signing up!
