We wanted to give you a heads up that our building will be closed from Monday 6 July to Monday 13 July while we spruce up the CaféBar.

We'll reopen on Tuesday 14 July, ready to welcome you back with coffee, food, and a refreshed space we think you'll love.

We're delighted that Passport to the MAC, our scheme offering subsidised transport for schools across Northern Ireland to attend our Christmas show, is now sponsored by fonaCAB!

As part of our ongoing commitment to making the arts accessible to all children in Northern Ireland, Passport to the MAC helps remove barriers to attending theatre and sharing in the magic of a live performance.

It feels only right to have fonaCAB as our principal sponsor. They're a fantastic family business serving communities across our city with a high-quality, safe and professional service.

If you know of a school who'd love to visit the theatre this Christmas, but the cost of transport is a barrier, please let them know about Passport to the MAC!

Not long to go now until our current exhibitions close. Pop in while you still can, or come back for another look if you’ve already been. You never know what you might notice the second time around.

Michelle Williams Gamaker: Strange Evidence | Upper Gallery

Michelle Williams Gamaker revisits the life of Merle Oberon to expose the racial politics of early cinema and examines how Oberon’s mixed heritage was erased under the pressures of Hollywood’s racial hierarchies.

Kwok Tsui: Many Moons Ago | Tall Gallery
Kwok Tsui’s practice is an autobiographical exploration of his experience as an immigrant, examining themes of displacement and diasporic existence through painting.

Dawn Richardson & Chad Alexander: Dungannon Tropicana | Sunken Gallery
A former Irish National Foresters club in Dungannon, County Tyrone, transforms into a multicultural community hub, revealing the untold stories of a town shaped by migration, identity, rumours, and chicken.

Until 5 July

Free to visit | Tue - Sun, 11am - 5pm

LEARN MORE

We've waved goodbye to the students from NYU, but before they headed home, we asked them some questions all about their experience in Northern Ireland.

From their favourite memories and what they've learned along the way they shared with us what made their visit to Belfast so special.
