Thank you for being a wonderful supporter of Helium.
You may have noticed our 'Making of Magic Appeal' we launched before Christmas to help raise vital funds for our work in 2026. We were blown away by the support, kind words and messages of encouragement from our community.
As an important supporter of Helium, and as part of our commitment to transparency, I'm so happy to let you know that as of today, we have raised €30,662 from donations and sales of digital prints, and we wanted to let you know know what that can do for children and young people we work with.
We will be able to:
Support 103 children through our programmes in hospital, communities and online - taking the fear and boredom out of long hospital waits and creating a sense of belonging for children and young people living with long-term health conditions.
Or
We can send 587 Art Packs out to children and young people across Ireland so they can participate in our online workshops - so even those who can't attend in person don't get left out.
Or
It could help us ensure a life-saving paramedic can attend twenty-eight of our 3-day workshops throughout the year - providing parents and our young artists with a sense of independence, security and a well-earned break.
I know you'll agree that this is a great result from our first ever Christmas Appeal. This will allow us to reach even more children and young people this year - we just couldn't do it without our supporters.
