Am I going to lose access to my purchases?
Emphatically no. Any books you currently have on your computer, tablet, phone, or e-reader will stay there exactly the same way they are now. Since we have never used DRM, we cannot touch those books even if we want to!
Then what is changing?
In the past, if you accidentally deleted a book or lost your device, you could log into Riptidepublishing.com and download another copy. After July 2026, users will no longer be able to re-download books from Riptidepublishing.com. Books purchased from Amazon, B&N, Kobo, iTunes, or any other platform except Riptidepublishing.com will not be affected.
So what do I need to do?
If you have purchased Riptide books through Riptidepublishing.com, you will need to download them to your computer or device before end of July.
You can visit https://riptidepublishing.com/account and click the ‘Bookshelf’ link and then ‘Browse Now’ to see what books you have purchased.
Click the links beside your books to download an epub, pdf, or mobi file. Which file you need depends on how you read your ebooks. You can download all three if you aren’t sure which ones you might need in the future.
